Loved the vibrant color. It fit perfectly on my tall body shape. I have extremely broad shoulders and it helped hide them. Also, I have an issue with dresses being too short but this dress was perfect in length. I am 5’9″ and it was about 2″ above the knee.
Super cute dress. I bought it to wear to a wedding and got lots of compliments on it. I love the bright colors and the floral print. It’s also the perfect cut to wear with a bra (which I need). I measured myself before I bought it and compared it to the suggested sizing. Ending up buying a size 8 based off of that (which was WAY too big) then bought a size 6 (my normal size) and that was still too big. It was too close to the wedding date at that point to try an even smaller size, so I just took it in a bit with safety pins to get the desired fit. I’d recommend going with your normal size or maybe even a size down. Fantastic dress though.
I almost missed this one, and I’m so glad that I didn’t. I have a lot of floral patterned Julian Taylor scuba dresses that I love, but it’s nice to wear something different every once in a while. The strawberry print is unique, and I like it on the blue background. Julian Taylor does a lot of white and black. It fits true to size as with all of Julian Taylor’s scuba dresses. The spandex provides some tummy control if needed. The fit and flare style is actually flattering on my pear shape. It doesn’t add any extra fullness to my hips and butt. I love scuba dresses, because they are machine washable and I hang them to try. They do not wrinkle, so they are good for traveling. I wish it wasn’t sleeveless, but the style goes well with a cropped 3/4 sleeved shrug. It gives it that 50’s look.
Very pretty, light-weight spring/summer dress. Could easily be dressed up to wear to a wedding or dressed down for a summer bbq. Fits true to size and is figure flattering if you have some areas that you aren’t feeling confident about. The material is very light-weight. It is a bit see-through (even above the knee), but I don’t think that it looks inappropriate. You just have to be careful what undergarments you wear and maybe also wear a light slip if it will make you feel better. The colors are beautiful – whites, oranges, and navy/teal. I’m 5’6″ and able to wear flats with it. It comes to about 1-2 inches above the ground for me. Great for girls with a bigger bust (I’m 38DDD and the top fits). I also purchased from a department store for a bit lower price than what Amazon is selling for.
I love this dress. Nice quality fabric with lining, not flimsy. Classy subtle edging details, Hemline is flirty pretty. I am petite 5’1″, 125 lbs and the 8 fit a little loose, but that’s what I wanted for a summer dress. Will work nicely at weddings, business events. Since I am petite, the length went down to my shins, but that works fine too. The color looks great with my Asian skin tone.
