If I could give this product more than 5 stars I would! When I took my 4 year old to a recent doctors appointment, they had a wall mural similar to this. My daughter was enamored with it and begged me to put one like it up in our room. When I was offered the opportunity to receive the ElecMotive Monkey and Owl Wall Mural at a discounted price in exchange for my unbiased review, I jumped at the chance. The package arrived quickly and included clear instructions and tips for a successful application. The stickers come in two large sheets that are rolled for mailing purposes. The first step is to unroll the sheets and allow them to lay flat for 8 hours to eliminate the likelihood of them rolling and peeling when you put them on the wall. The stickers have a strong odor when they are first removed from the clear plastic packaging, so if you or your little ones are sensitive to smells, I would recommend laying them flat in an area that it won’t affect you. Be sure to remove them from the clear plastic packaging prior to leaving them to flatten out to hasten the odor removal. Application is super simple. The stickers to assemble the tree are each numbered, so it’s very self explanatory. If you find that you placed a particular branch upside down, or a bit lopsided, it’s easy to remedy by just removing and trying again. The stickers do not lose their ability to cling to the wall because they are vinyl. I did not have any issues with the edges coming up or curling at all, but had I experienced that, the instructions suggest pressing the edges down while applying heat using a blow dryer to solve the problem. I’m guessing that you’ll only have this problem if you didn’t allow enough time for the stickers to flatten, or you are trying to apply to a dirty wall.

My daughter and I had such a fun time assembling the mural. I did the tree and she placed all of the animals, mushrooms and acorns! Each of the animals from the mural have now become a part of our bedtime story routine. Such fun! The best part is that when I finally get around to moving her out of my room and into her own room, I can remove the mural and reassemble it in her big girl room so that her forest friends can move with her! In the meantime, I’ll enjoy the happy forest animals on my bedroom wall.
